This work centers around the idea of skin, and thinking about skin as a continuous surface in relationship to time and movement. The images in this series are not made with Photoshop. They are made using a modified Hasselblad film camera, and a Flatbed Scanner as the film. Experimenting with choreographed motion, I'm exploiting visual anomalies unique to kinetic scanning. Working in this way, the elasticity of both time and skin can be stretched - revealing curious illustrations of movement.
